Case 530 Correct replacement tachometer cable

I have a case 530 gas backhoe. S/N 820**** made in 1962. Looking for tachometer cable. One listed under parts on this site says for s/n 8297801 and up. Anyone know if this would fit my older case or know of the correct one ? Thanks

On the old 530 series the tach ran off the back of the generator, hopefully the unit has not been changed, most times now people just update to an alternator, there is an alternator built that has a tach drive incorporated, I believe that John Saeli has access to them if he does not stock them

This is the cable that runs off the back of the generator. I will remove it and give you the length and size of connections.
