All, Looking at buying a 730 or 830 case. What were the pros and cons? I heard that they have head gasket problems?.. Looking at two with 3 points to move 1200 lb bales with 3 point carrier. Also to pull a rowse double mower. We hay about 500 acres.

All around a great tractor, and that is for every use, if you like a automatic transmission, you will love Case O Matic. Keep the oil change on the transmission, and take care of it and it will take care of you.

I had an 830 caseomatic diesel and it was a very good tractor. I never had any head gasket problems. The caseomatic transmission was good for plowing, disking... etc, but I didn't care for it for mowing
