Got the 4490 up and running and used it to anhydrous 250 acres but have an issue with hydraulics. It only raises implements when clutch is pushed in. Changed hydraulic pumps and checked pressures according to manual but still nothing. Noticed there are several pressure sensors on the hydraulic filter top.

The case manual has 20 pages on troubleshooting the 3 pt hitch but very little on the remotes. It just says check pressure and flow. Pressure and flow are great when clutch is pushed in.

Need help. Thanks

Will the pressure come up and begin to raise as the clutch is slowly depressed? If so it sure sounds like maybe a leak in the PS. Will increased RPM's help lift? The pressure flow compensating system makes them a little different trouble shooting, Rod.

Slowly depressing or releasing clutch doesn?t slowly increase or decrease pressure. It just hits a point on the clutch and pops the hydraulics up. I?m going to swap compensatory valve off my 4690 and see if that helps but I see there are two, primary and secondary compensating valves.

I know the 4690 worked great so I?ll narrow it down one by one. Thanks

I did not ask if you shifted up in 2 or 3 to check the hydraulics. A customer called the other day , he was planting with a 2390 and quit in the evening, everything was working great. Come back the next morning and he had no hydraulics or 3pt. Changed the compensator and everything worked again, Rod.
