1959/60 Case 1000d crawler dozer

I ve got an old case believe to be a 1000d although I can only find one tag on the machine with a case number 1012248 and it s got 6 rollers on the lower side of the track 2 upper. The machine is a crawler type track loader with a counter weight that can carry 5 ripper hooks. Total weight of the machine and counter weight is just over 28,000 lbs looking for info and parts I suspect I ve got a broken drive axle on the left side. Any help is appreciated

1000 serial # are 710 ---- to 7101200 is a plain 1000

" # 7101201 to 7102900 is 1000C

" # 7103001 and up is a 1000D and the #'s went on

to the 1150.

There is a special group of #'s that start with 701---- and

they are for 1000BR which are a factory rebuilt tractor ,they

a bit odd a they have parts from both early ones and 1000C
