Case DC - Starter Switch Button

It is time for me to replace the starter switch button on my DC again. Any recommendations on what to use for a starter button that will last longer?

Find a solenoid and a push button to activate it. I haven't figured out how to find a decent "old style" starter button for either Case or Farmall letter series tractors in the last few years. (Originals were from the same supplier.) Most that I've taken apart use thin "copper(?)" strips for the contact points. Nothing like the old style in construction, so they just melt due to the amps they have to transmit. Solenoid is the only way to go, I M O, but my opinion & $5.00 might be enough to get you a Starbucks coffee. Most stuff I work on are working tractors, not show tractors. Firewall mount Ford solenoids work good.

O?reillys has good one. They can get parts for old tractors. Many people don?t know that. Check also on line at Steiner tractor parts.
