Have a 431. Few months ago after giving kids a ride I went to back it up in parking spot and would shift out from 3rd. After few mins oh messing with it the shifter moved but only third gear still, even in neutral position. Shut off, rocked back and forth and finally got it to push back in parking spot. Pulled cover of trans and reverse fork was broke off. Lil searching around and no luck finding parts I was told best way was to have welded back so I did.. now after many many attempts it still doesn t shift.. no even is "start" position.. so question does this reverses fork fit parallel to other forks or angled back more? Or any other ideas.. thanks

Take the shift cover back off and move all the gear collars into neutral position.
Then take a look at the position of the forks in the cover when in neutral. They need
to coincide. If they do you need to pay special attention to the reverse fork when
installing the cover and make sure it drops into the center of the reverse collar. It
is easy to miss the center of the collar and get it on one side of it.
Also when you removed the reverse rail, did you get the lockout dowels which are in
perpendicular bores to the rails back in place properly???
