1170 Painted White ?

Did any of the 1170's come out of the factory painted white?

No,, 1170 production ended in 1971 Power White came in Jan 1974

Bought my 1170 in 79. Had it painted and decaled as a 1175. Dealer did a great job inside and out. Removed all windows. Been a excellent tractor all these years.

That is evidently what has taken place with this tractor. It has 1170 stamped on the serial number plate, has a single engine oil filter, cast iron nose and dual steering cylinders. But it is painted white with 1175 decals. They evidently stripped it down completely because there is not a trace of yellow paint anywhere.Unfortunately the serial number tag is worn so badly that all you can make out on it is the 1170 stamp. I am wondering if I could take that tag off and be able to read the serial number on the back side. Thanks for the info!
