1030 pictures - 1967-8 ?

Out of high school I worked for Nutcher Equipment in Turlock, Ca. As an 17-18 year old I was delivering and demonstrating new case tractors and actually closing sales. I found some photos of a brand new 1030 I was demoing and did sell it. Replaced an AC Crawler. This was close to the first 1030 delivered to a dealer in Calif. Not positive on exact date. We were using a three point traction transfer hitch

Funny all of this talk about 1030s lately. 40 years ago when I was a kid, the farm I helped at had one. This same tractor showed up on craigslist yesterday. NO LIE! make an offer. I now live 20 miles away. and it wouldn't be a long ride home with it. Hmmm decisions decisions????

Hi Don, It was off of craigslist by the time I looked again. They do have 2 others that are still on there. A Desert sunset SC and a Farmall A. I am assuming it got sold. I take over Smith and Schartner this coming Saturday and will be there all day switching decals on trucks and trailers. Stop in if you have time. Now that I will be up there more often, I would love to see your tractors. Bill
