I am looking at Painting a 1570 Spirit tractor. What is the best option for this. Decals I have found do not do it all according to the pictures I have.
What is the correct way to Paint and Decal this tractor.
How was it from the factory.

Sorry, I can?t answer your question. But I do have a request please. Please show us pictures of the tractor if you could. The spirit of 76 is my favorite 2 wheel drive Case tractor. Thank you. Kow Farmer Kurt

Here is the real deal. This was our "1570" on the lot, with my brother and his wife and my old Coleman sled. I sold the "1570" in the spring of 77, whew it was a good feeling to see her go back then.

Dan, do you know where it's at today? That would be a nice addition for you to get back :) Do you remember what the price was? My dad bought our 2390 new in Feb 1980 for $33K outright, geez it turned 40 a month ago. The big tractor until it came was '72 970 he bought on a farm sale in 1974. Not to long after the 23 he bought a 1978 1370 with about 400hrs, we had that until '96 and the '970 left on a combine trade around 1990. In between those years we had picked up a one owner 2090 and one owner 870 from two different farm sales. Still have them and a bunch of 30 series too.

Dan,

Did your dealership also handle snowmobiles by chance? Around here almost everybody was selling snowmobiles in the early 70's. Was that Coleman originally a Skiroule? Don

I have a complete original set from Case,plus 60 other pieces,call 715-308-2163 if interested

Don

No, we never did, only used ones if we had to take on in. My uncles brother sold Coleman, so I bought it from him. I think you are right on the Skiroule Don.

Brad,

I don't know what happen after the second customer, my best guess it went south maybe around Grand Forks. Just shaking a little dust off this old brain, as the records are long gone, but 27k seems to stick in my head. I have to confess, I was never so happy to see that tractor go off the lot. As we would here guys say,(after July 4th) well what are you going to do with that!

We had a 1370 on the farm one fall, I ran it for a while, I sure liked that tractor. I sold some 1370s new, but sold quite a few 2390's and a few 2590s.
Brad, it sounds like you have a large Case family!
