VAC eagle hitch

The eagle hitch on my VAC has homemade links between the rock shaft and draft arms and they are too long. They work, but I cant get much ground clearance with most implements. I made a new set and they turned out too short. I was wondering if someone could measure their links so I can make a new set. I know they are adjustable and one side includes a crank for adjustment, but I just need a ball-park idea.

Thanks,
Lee

There are 3 different lengths for the VAC plus at least 2 other lengths for other models of the VA series. Need to know what year model if available and size of rear tires. If unsure of year, tire size should get you close enough to work. Lee

Should be about 11" center to center of the pins. That is where the center of the adjustment would put them. Lee

I have a 1950 VA yes with std 28" rears,, my RH link is set @ 11 1/2" I also ave these somewhat rare plates with mine,, been on it since new,, make sure your EH control valve is set correctly on its free-play on the rocker that controls the valve,, seen them have lots of wear and not give you full travel
