Time to start thinking about getting equipment ready for spring. Have 40+ shovels to replace on my Case field cultivator and service the tractors. Needs to dry up a little more yet....

I could look forward to spring tillage if I had either one of those two big tractors, problem would be that I would be all done in about two hours. Hardly bring them to operating temperature on 30 acres of my corn silage ground.

Hey Steve: Is that LP tank on the front in addition to the rear tank? How many hours do you get out of a refill if the ol'e girl is up to the governor working? Does she run cool?

Used it on a 6 row cyclo a few years ago. Used all 68 gallons (20 front,48 rear) to plant 50 acres. One of the 930 diesels would have used probably 30 gallons on the same load. Have pulled a 5/16 JTA Case plow in third, only 377 cu in, and has always ran cool. Plow one gear lower than the 930 diesels. Early 65 tractor that has the linkage on the gear shift yet...good tractor, just thirsty. Doesn't have the hp or torque of a diesel.

Steve we got rain and now snow today, wanted to get some small grain in early, that will not happen anytime soon.
