Working on an old Case 580 backhoe with a 188 Diesel. Need to get the front cover off. Cant get the crank pulley to slide off the crank. Hits the frame/radiator support. Looks as if the pulley pulled forward on the inner collar that slides onto the crank. Dont want to cut it off unless I know I can get a replacement. Any suggestions where to find parts?

Have to unbolt the front bolster of the tractor to give room to get at the crank pulley.

If the belt lined up, then the pulley didn't move. How are you going to put the new one on without torching it?
It looks like the outer pulley with the pulley was pressed on an inner collar and slipped forward when I used the puller. Per case it looks like I had the wrong pulley. I found an OEM which is being shipped. Hopefully it has clearance. If not, I'll do what I have to. Big issue was to get it apart to see if we can fix it.
