fyi case 311b

THere was a Case 311b on a sale north of Kansas City today. IT was wide front and triple range. I thought maybe it would go at a bargain price, as the weather was crappy, the road was crappy, there was little in the way of machinery and it was the only tractor on the sale. It showed 860 hrs, looked like maybe 1 of the back tires was original and brought $1700. There was a Case plow on the sale which was obviously for eagle hitch, but it did not have the pivot I have seen on other plows. Did Case make such an item? The pins that fit in the eagle hitch had big bolt heads on the end. It had the diagonal brace most Case plows have. It brought $70.

yes they made them both ways,, mine is a model "E" the bolt heads you speak of are just bolts,, you remove them for use on a normal 3pt ball arm to attach

I should have bought that plow for my VAC. BUt I think the guy who bought the tractor bought the plow and I don't think I would have won a bidding war.
