Don got some information on case dealers in Marshall MN. I got this from a local party named Brakke but have not been able verify it. His family had the dealership in Marshall MN. during the 50's under the name of Brakke Implement. In about 1960 it went back to Koob Implement for a couple of years. After that it became a company store run by a man named Tom Rippendorf. Later, some time during the 1970's Ed Rust took over operation. On the pipestone dealership Ed Rust acquired the Pipestone MN dealership from Herman Stuven in the late 1960,s my family did business with both Stuven in 1959 and later on with Rust.

Thanks for the additional information. So, Ed Rust was AFTER Case Power and Equipment? The reason I ask is that it is rare for a CPE store to go back to private ownership. Don

I am reasonable sure that is how it went as i remember the business got tied up in a tax withholding problem with the irs .

Thanks for filling in the gaps I had. Lots of turnover in Pipestone and Marshall, MN. Must have been lots of competition in those days. Thanks again, Don
