210B transmission question

Hello all...this past fall bought a 1959 210B for plowing snow on my driveway and general stuff around our farm. She runs pretty well and gets the job done despite the large amount of snow we've had this year. The problem I'm having is that when it gets bogged down she stops and shortly after, some sort of torque multiplier kicks in and off she goes again.
I dont know anything about this type of transmission. Now it seems to take longer to get going and I'm wondering what to do about it
Any help would be welcome!

STOP! Your tractor does not have any sort of "torque multiplier" if it is original. The 200b is mechanical drive, with 2 friction clutches. The foot operated clutch is a "dry" clutch that stops both the motion of the tractor and the PTO. The hand clutch, operated by a lever on the left side of the torque tube is an "oil bath" type that stops the motion of the tractor, but not the PTO, thus giving you a "live PTO". If you were using a snow blower, you would use the hand clutch to stop the tractor while allowing the blower to continue running. I suspect that one of those 2 clutches is badly out of adjustment. When you get into heavy going, one of those clutches is slipping. As it continues slipping, enough heat builds up to allow the clutch to grab again. Continuing to operate the tractor as it is now will cause serious damage.

I have a 59 210B. I believe the problem is in the engine. Mine had a similar problem. It was a combination of points, timing and a broken valve spring.

Thanks so much for the info..I joined the group and submitted my question yesterday...you guys are amazing...I have no manual and are unable to find any info on line regarding this rare tractor...I am going to go ahead and adjust this clutch and I'm confident that this should help but I am in desperate need of an inexpensive copy of shop drawings as I have tonnes of work to do on this girl...any advise would be greatly appreciated
