Case tractor, First model with factory 3 point

It?s my understanding that the 200 of 58/59 was offered with an optional true 3 pt. Never did see one so equipped myself. there was one listed on the photo adds that had a factory 3 point and the seller got creamed on here for calling it a factory 3 point. Hope it didn?t cost him a sale or beat him up on the selling price. That?s been a number of years ago.

Wheat straw is correct.
Case offered the option of a true 3pt starting in 1958 with the B models. I would have to look but I know it was offered for the 200B and 300 series and possibly the 500B and 600B.
It was also available retroactively for the round nose 300s starting in 1958. The updated 300 round nose parts book from 1958 shows the 3pt but the original 300 round nose does not show the 3pt.
the B model parts books (rock island tractors) show the optional 3pt
Tom Stanley has stated that when a tractor was ordered with 3pt the dealer installed it and had to remove the eagle hitch.

I have a 1949 VAC that has the Stockton 3 point hitch on it. Don't know if it is factory or aftermarket

Ok not a full 3 point. I have a lot of fun representing this as a prototype from Ferguson and J I CASE as a secret tractor from 1935. Tractor was smuggled out of Case skunk works by my Great Grandfather. Thats my story and I am sticking with it!!!!!!!!!!! ENJOY

I have a 1958 200B that my dad sold new to our neighbor. I am the second owner. It came from the factory with the swinging three point hitch.
