case 580CK 188D

hey guys, since there are so many manuals for CASE 580CK 188D BACKHOE, I'm not sure which one I need to get. I've seen many manuals displayed on ebay or other sights but not sure what information is needed to get the correct repair book. I've had many problems trying to figure the injection pump and timing issues...still don't have fuel at the injectors. No white smoke or vapor out of the stack either. The pump was rebuilt, flushed fuel system, new fuel, lines and filters, and a new battery. It has a new starter too! perhaps someone would be kind enough to help and get back to me IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECEIATED. THANKS JERRY

Did you get the parts I mailed yet? Pump calibrated fine on the test bench, but I'll re-check it again if you like..

I called and left you a message Wed or Thu.. Yes I got the parts on Sat..{ thank you } ...Is there anything else to check or anything I can do before I pull the pump... thanks jerry any suggestions on a manual for this 1971 case

To your post of the other day regarding manuals, where you said you were not sure which ones to get. Go to http://www.dmcretail.com/productSearch.aspx which is Case's site to order their Case Construction Equipment manuals. There you can do a search for your machine's manuals. If you don't want to buy a new manual from that site, record the manual part number you will see there and you can use that Case number as a reference to find the right manual on eBay or other sources. Check these for yourself, but it looks like the Service Manual for your 580CK is Case # 9-69650 and the Operator's Manual is # 9-1885. Hope this helps your get the right manuals.
