2590 injectors

I had a vo-tech student test my injectors and they
are shot, he said he could replace the tips. I
assume there are different tips for different
horsepower. I would like to be around 200hp. What
would be the part number on those? Do any of you
guys have them in stock?

Both Robert Bosch and American Bosch Case injectors need a special fixture for taking the injectors apart. If not used the intermediate plate locating pins WILL be broken and cause unneeded injector damage. Other 17MM injectors need the same fixture.

LOL!

The horsepower or the amount of excess smoke are determined by how the injection pump is set up, injectors don't by themselves determine horsepower.

Once you've got got the I.P. set up for your "needs" the necessary details of the injectors to play along can be determined, IMHO.

a 2590 is very close to if not over 200 hp Stock pto,, and has the large nozzles any way,, as said Dumping more fuel to them without knowing what you are doing will very likely decrease hp rather than increase it, I never seen a 1370 we sold new put out less than 170 hp,, Case always under rated their engines,, it is your machine and do what ever you like but you are asking for other issues by attempting to jack hp depending on how you are planning to use the power

I found a set of stock injectors for a 2590. I?ll run it and see how it performs. It was very sluggish and constantly smoking

check timing, air intake system, fuel rack for free movement,, all can cause the problems you describe I have also seen the dampner pulley slipped on the rubber causing the timing marks to be off, there are more but these I see most often
