990 Block Heater

Which freeze plug is the best to put a block heater in, on a David Brown 990?

Mine is in the one just above the injector pump. That being said, I almost never use it unless it's -20F or colder. I use a hot air gun and push the air into the intake manifold through the big bung hole above the fuel pump on the right hand side. That and the cold start needle on the pump make her a good starter in cold temps.
