The Case 188/207 engines and Oliver/Waukesha diesels I have a home made welded 9/16 open end wrench just for those engines. Also works on the three bolt pumps on JD 4320 and 4620 tractors.

His bushing is new, I just replaced it. Bushing also has been modified with a more gradual taper so no tools needed, just plenty of lube and fingers are all that's needed. I change the bushing taper angle before I epoxy them in the housing. I'm still trying to talk him through the correct engine location procedure, as the pump was removed before the timing was set.

Good to know you ended up with his pump, had I known that I wouldn't have bothered to ask that question. I read he was working on it himself and had some problems. I know it was suggested he send it to you. I missed where he sent it to you, thought he was still trying to do it himself. He will likely have better luck with you are talking him through it, rather than trying to do it by reading posts.

I've always been able to get the umbrella seals in with my fingers as well.
