I'm a Farmall guy in this place I don't belong, but I bought a M with SC Case fenders. Are these fenders only for a SC case?

Depends Smooth curved fenders were only sc and dc. Ones with rib supports would work on other later models. 400/700/800/730/830

I can understand why a person might put Case SC fenders on a Farmall. The fenders on H's and M's were not really fenders they were wheel shields. To keep you from putting your hand over against a moving wheel. As far as mud sling they were better than nothing, but just a little. imho gobble
