After talking with ACG Loren a couple weeks ago I got excited about trying to turbo the 770. It is a dog compared to the 870. Dyno?s near 65 hp with plenty of smoke, so I bet we can improve on that. I will be going on a different mission as I want to do this on a pretty tight budget. I can get a 190 XT turbo and exhaust elbow from the local salvage yard for a couple hundred bucks. All other pieces I need can be found there also and with a bit of fabbing will work. The 190 and 770 are about 35 cu. in. difference so I am hoping the turbo is a fairly close match, Rod.

The AC 301 turbo is still too big in my opinion as the AC also runs faster than the 770 does. I had a 301 turbo on my IH 560 D 282 and it did not have much boost at all that I was looking for, and the Case 267 would be worse yet. I now have a much smaller turbo on the 560 now with a waste gate and it works MUCH better, will start boost at 1100 RPM now and waste gate limits boost to 10 PSI like I wanted. The turbo you need is from a Ford 7000 256 to have the best results.

Case built a high altitude kit for the 336 in the W-14,, might check that out Rod,, also the 207 had a turbo in the 580D that one may be a better match also

Google T3, T4 A/R .63 400 HP autopapa-US turbo kit. I just got one in for another project, it's a universal kit with waste gate and fittings. Dropped on my porch for under 150 bucks. Would be the right size for the 770-267. Probably from China, but the AC 301 turbo I took off was too.
