Case Manure Spreader

Hello,
My dad has recently acquired a case manure
spreader. It works, but he said in his opinion the
chain ran too fast. Wouldn?t mind getting an OM but
don?t know the model.
Only numbers I find is a very faded W007.
Trying to post photos, first from my phone, I usually
use the computer on here.

The speed of the apron chain can be controlled. Can't see enough of the spreader to get a clue as to model. The lever on the front looks like it would be the one to control apron speed.
 



it looks like a spreader built for Case by Kasten Mfg. I don't remember those spreader having any adjustment for apron speed. You just drive faster to spread the poo lighter.

The lever that you hook a rope to just disengages the beater. The apron has a simple worm gear box that is chain driven from the shaft running along the side to the back of the box that drives it.

I will grab a binder and see looks like a 140 or 180 like Loren said no speed changes on apron speed, just like my 130A spreader is,, you have to kick out the beaters when it gets so low or you get smacked about the head and shoulders
