2590 hydraulic screen

I have a 2590 starving for oil. How do you get the charge pump inlet screen out to clean it?
I have been told that you have to split the tractor, I hope not.
Thanks.

You posted this yesterday and it was answered. I will add to John's reply that I use an air gun that can blow diesel to flush the screen and housing.

You can fashion a long piece of thin walled pipe, approx. 3/4 in diameter thick you use attached to a shop vac and slip under the diff. to get at some of the screen for removing the debris. Usually enough is removed the tractor will operate normally again. HOWEVER you are only fixing the symptom and not the problem normally being lining material. I have seen this done on one occasion to merely fix the tractor good enough to be able to sell it, a procedure I really frowned upon. But it happens, Rod.
