Chuck machines case second gear

On my tyranny second gear was bad also the first gear pinion on the bottom shaft. All this equaled replacement. Third fourth was fine. So the conclusion it see lots of time in second.

Sounds as if she may have had rear chain loose for a long time in her life.Do you recollect in the tear down if the chains rubbed the transmission? CM

Chains were not to bad minor adjustment. I would say someone was rough on shifting or gear grinding.
