David brown 2d tractor

I am looking for a David Brown 2d D tractor it looks similar to the Allis G.
they were all called tube tractors if you have one in the junk pile or if you
know someone that might have one I would appreciate hearing from you.

Had to look up some images of that tractor on Google. Never seen one of those before. Did it have a diesel engine?

Yup, just saw one in the antique tractor display at an Ag show south of salem oregon.
2 cylinder air cooled diesel engine. And definitely looks like a a-c G

Ceratainly not common, but that isn't the only one in the USA(possibly its the only industrial, though the paint color doesn't look right on that one). I have seen several others red 2d tractors.

I am happy to say that I raised some interest in this David Brown 2-d tractor
I surely would like to find one somewhere to restore it to its original condition
there Hass to be a few of them in the junk around somewhere
put the word out find me one I?m 84 years old
and I fixed up 20 different tractors and this is my last hurrah

Thanks for posting. Looks to be heavier duty than the AC Model G.

Thank you for looking you said that you may have possibly seen some
of these somewhere if you remember where maybe I could check in
that area maybe they do show up but anyway I?m still looking for one
I know it?s unusual and there aren?t many around that?s why I?m looking for one
I?ll try to restore back to its original might take a few years but I?m in excellent shape yet

If I find a 2-D tractor I will certainly need that manual if it?s available
I live at Holman Wisconsin that?s near La Crosse Wisconsin
anyway you don?t happen to have a 2-d tractor do you ?
I don?t know if I?ll ever find one I appreciate everybody looking

The last one I saw went through "Chalkers" consignment auction in Southington OH about 2 years ago. They may know where it went, might be worth a call.

And here is a 2D that sold at auction in Redwater, Alberta for $600CAD. Put some "want ads" on Craigslist - you will find one.

Thank you so much that tells me there?s some yet out there but I can?t find any I was on craigslist all over the United States I live in La Crosse Wisconsin I would surely make a trip to Canada if I could find one for $600 anyway thank you for the reply if you find one somewhere give me a jingle area code 608-386-0602 I appreciate it thank you.
