Well the weather has been quite rainy so I have worked on it a lot. Basically it is stripped down to a tranny case. Painting a few parts, lots of cleaning, parts ordering etc. Will be starting to put her back together as early as tomorrow, Engine was toast so I purchased one. As for picture that will have to be Mrs. Jocco and later on. Kind of enjoying working on it.

Good for you. Hope you have a nice warm shop, and a comfey chair in it so you can set back with a Tody and admire your work. Tell the wifey to get those pictures uploaded so we can see them.---------------Loren

It's a big job to rebuild one. Gets worse the bigger they are. I'm looking forward to the pics

Not to bad of a job warm well outfited shop. Found lots of parts sources for the more common simple stuff. My big disadvantage is I have never been to deep in Cases just simple stuff. Should be good tractor for the farm. I know you like yours a lot.

What was toast about the engine? Good parts are in demand. Is the block not cracked? is the head good---especially a 5505 high compression head? What piston and sleeves are in the unit? Any 4 1/16 bore parts are a real treasure to have even if they are stuck but not broke. Are any of the rods and crank any good?
