points for Racine 400

John, It's a Racine 401 that had an engine go bad and it was replaced with a power unit gas burner. Have a problem getting the right points which got me thinking. What distributer does the gas 400 have. This one has a WICO 730169. Would this be the correct dist. for the 400 gasser. For your protection since you are under impeachment inquiry I think my email is open if you feel safer that way. Can you get the points and how much. What would be the cost for an electronic ignition set up.

I have never run across a WICO in a 400. The 400's all left the factory w/ Prestolite's, or Magnetos as far as I can tell. The Wico's didn't show up until after 1960 w/ the 730 830. I'm not finding your WICO number in the parts books, so I'd like to have a picture of the points to be sure we have the correct set for your 400.
 
We had a 700 with a wico, parts were always a problem so we switched it out with a prestolite from a 400. Who knows if the wico was the original one on it.
 
John , my 410 came with an Auto-Lite distributor .
No trouble whatsoever with it .
