A6 combine windrow attachment

Attached is a picture of a windrow attachment for an A6 combine. It has been sitting in a sheep shed for decades and we were thinking about reviving it to put on our combine. My father says there used to be a gearbox on it that would change the direction. I was wondering if anyone has any literature on this accessory.

you mean for pickup windrows? or for Moving the straw windrow over farther as it comes out the rear? I looked through the A books I have nothing in them,, but I do not have all book versions handy,, its a interesting piece

CaseNutty I was told it was for merging windrows as they come out the back of the combine.

that makes sense,, I could see want two 6 foot windrows for baling just never seen one I will see if the older parts book shows it if I have one, it may be a few days
