Case CC Oil Pressure Gage

I am wondering how to put an oil pressure gage on a case CC tractor? Also, what is a healthy oil pressure for one to run at?

Thank you!

If the pin is out at all when it is warmed up you are good. To hook up a gauge you need to get into the crankcase and hook up to
the oil lines on the main bearings. I do not think there is an oil gallery beside the camshaft.

Someone put a pressure gauge on my 36 CC and drilled thru the block to get to the oil line. Did it twice and plugged one hole, so must have missed their goal on the first try. They have it sealed up good...no leaks...35 lbs. warm.

I unscrewed the goofy pop out pin that it came with and the pipe that ran from it to the main oil line. I then gutted an old pop-out pin casting. Then I screwed a pipe nipple directly into the same fitting
that fed the pop out pin that was long enough to come out through the end of the gutted casting (I may have needed to drill it out at the end to fit the pipe - I don't remember. I put an elbow off of that pipe
and attached an oil pressure line and ran it to a gauge up at the seat.
