Case 4890 /4490 no rear steering or rear hydraulics

We have a 4890 that was working fine and all of a sudden lost rear steer and rear hydraulics. (I know of a 4490 that is the same way also) It happened once before and we took it to the dealer and spent thousands of dollars but got it back going again, until now when it happened again, I went back and asked them what they did and they couldn't tell me so maybe someone on here can tell me what to look into, I'm not wanting to spend thousands more on it not even 2 years later, any help would be great! Thanks
 
Why you have front steer and nothing else confuses me. We lost all hyd's on our 4890 once, but I cannot remember about the steering. Turned out to be an issue w/ the PTO Brake. W/ the PTO off, the brake was robbing all the oil pressure. Simply engage your PTO and see if the issue resolves itself. Let me guess...?.your 4890 has no PTO?? Get back and we will take this 1 step @ a time.
 
Thats because the front steer is on a separate pump and circuit then the back, the back remotes 3pt (not sure on PTO) are on their own. To answer your question yes the tractor has PTO but we have never used it. The issue isn't the pump it has to be some value somewhere that stuck open or shut thats not letting the oil flow through it. The pump was fine when it happened a year or so ago
 
We never used our PTO either. Engage the PTO & see if the issue resolves itself. Engaging the PTO stops oil flow to the PTO brake. Let us know.
