Curious what that orange steel line going into the bearing carrier does and why only the one side has it? Posted pic hopefully it works.

I can't find any hint of it in any of the parts books. Where does the line originate from?

The steel line that comes down from the cowl to the bellhousing has a T fitting and that line comes and ties into it.

I think it is using return steering oil to lube the differential bearing. Case felt the left hand differential bearing ran a little dry and remember those spun a little faster than their bull gear siblings. 1170?s and 75?s are all mechanical shifts and they didn?t need the return oil for the powershift like their smaller siblings. Rod.
