Curious what that orange steel line going into the bearing carrier does and why only the one side has it? Posted pic hopefully it works.

The steel line that comes down from the cowl to the bellhousing has a T fitting and that line comes and ties into it.
 
I think it is using return steering oil to lube the differential bearing. Case felt the left hand differential bearing ran a little dry and remember those spun a little faster than their bull gear siblings. 1170?s and 75?s are all mechanical shifts and they didn?t need the return oil for the powershift like their smaller siblings.
