Front Weight/Toolbox

The front weights for the 300 are pretty darn hard to find and if you do they cost an arm and a leg. My brother and I decided to spend part of a day fabbing up a toolbox that looks similar. It is made primarily out of 1/4" steel and has some weight to it. We added the receiver hitch in the front for more versatility and I will get a plug for it when not in use to keep the dirt out. Without the pins and hitch in the toolbox weighs about 30lbs.

Wow your seat aand fenders are not like my 312,look like 530 fenders. Is platform solid? Thought fenders added to platform strength

Thank you for the replies everyone. The Fenders are actually VAC fenders which are the same as 200, 430, 530, 470, 570. The floor is solid as it has its own supports underneath that bolt to the transmission housing. I like that fender/floor setup better than the original one. I am actually surprised that Case did not offer it as an option from the factory. Maybe some dealers did?

Anyways, it makes it nicer to mount/dismount and to see what I am driving over.

I am not sure about ACG's 300 but if you get close to mine you will start to see many nicks, dings, and other problems. The tractor was in a fire and will always have its fire problems. It also gets out and mows, plows, and all kinds of other jobs that slowly beat it up. But I am fighting the good fight and trying to keep her held together as best I can. I like my tractors to work but I also like them to be clean and look good too.

Yeah, mine is a 10-yard tractor--looks good from 10 yards or better. But it's yards ahead of what it was when I got it, appearance-wise as well as mechanically.

Ben, my son has his 411B for sale with a MTA 34 plow. Maybe you could get Chuck to do the trucking. It is as nice as any of your tractors.-------Loren
