Baled some hay

Boy, 200 bales is a lot more work than it seemed when I was younger! Lol. Cut some of my worst oats to make hay, but then it got a couple small rains on it, so it is not the greatest. Should still be ok for cattle feed tho, just not good to sell. Mostly just wanted to check out the 200 baler, it worked great! Was worried since it had been sitting outside for the last 10 years or so. Glad I can get it inside now.

Got about 200 bales, only missed one.

Jeff came over to drive the tractor, and my wife drove the truck to pick up the last 75 bales that wouldn't fit on the wagon. Even Baxter came out to help some.

Going to have to get that baler cleaned up now so it looks good again. Hopefully I'll cut some of the oats for combining today. Gotta work some this morning tho, seems I'm the only driver working this week. Should be done by noon tho, so I'll still get some things done around the kingdom this weekend.
Baling

The neighbor was out with his 45 year old equipment 9:00 last night punching out smalls of rye straw. Was a strange sound in today?s world. PS. I?ve got your wheel weight at Junkshow.

Jon: I spent many hot hours loading for the neighbor behind a 330 wire w/ the tension pressure cranked way up. It had a hyd. tension setting. Everytime he walked by the valve he'd crank it up, & everytime I walked by, I'd back it off. I'd be praying for a breakdown.
One observation on your baler, I'd sharpen the knives and check the setting. Sharp knives set properly make the baler run much easier.

I put a 301 from a combine in it, works good. Baled most of it in 3rd gear, second where it was heavier.
