Venting fuel system on Case 990

When venting the fuel system on a case 990. After cleaning the water trap/sediment bowl and reassembled, then loosen the connection to the lift pump and bleed until free of air. Next loosen proper plug and connection in proper order bleeding the fuel filters. Next go to fuel injection pump loosen plugs in proper order and prime until air is out. All this is OK. My question is- when you start venting the high pressure pipes at the nozzle ends, do you loosen all of them at the same time and then use the starter to vent them, or do you vent one line at a time? Also if you vent one line at a time , is there a particular order? If the lines must be vented in an order, what is that order ?Thanks for any help. Steve

Loosen all lines at injectors, crank with fuel on same as starting. When you see air free fuel at each injector tighten the nuts and start engine. Does not need done in any particular order.

And hen you loosen or tighten them, make sure they are broken loose of the pipe or you can twist one and then need to replace the line! Learned that the hard way.

My method is just bleeding at the pump, then one injector until it starts dripping while cranking.

Sir, Do you mean - just loosen one connector at a time and vent until air is all removed, then move to another injector and repeat ?

No, once you get fuel to one injector they will usually start and clear the rest of the air themselves.
