I have a 1967 Case 841 (830) narrow front .I want to put a
wide front on it, Does a 730 wide front work on this model ? I
have talked to people that say 730 abd 930 both work . I am
looking for a good wide front that fits . If anyone can help
me with what fits and what to look out for in my search , such
as areas that could be worn or welded . Thanks for any input .

Everything from the round nose 400 through the 1030 will bolt on. There are some differences over the years and the 9/1030 fronts are a bit heavier.

Very little difference, but some. Any wide front from the large frame tractors will work, better to find one of any age that is in nice shape. The very early ones don't turn as short, they will have an angle iron yoke rather than pipe.

Changed my 1967 Case narrow front to a late model Case 730 wide front . A couple things I ran into was a support ring ( around the stearing assembly under the tractor ) with 6 bolts . The ring has to come off for the front mount to bolt up . The wide front Tractors do not use this . Replaced the 5/8 bolts with shorter ones 2 1/4 . The ring was pretty stuck . Sprayed up trough the bolt holes as to soak the inside of the ring , Used a chisel to get under it and worked it around to get it off. The other issue was the 730 front mount (lower bolts ) used 5/8 x 2 1/4 bolts . My 830 was threaded for 3/4 on the 2 lower bolts . Had to get 2 2 1/4 x 3/4 bolts and lock washers . Next issue was the 3/4 bolts would not fit through the mount . Drilled them out to 3/4 on my drill press . Bolted right up . I do not know if all 830 tractors use the 3/4 bolt on the front lower mount , but is worth checking to be better prepared to do the job . Hope this someone else .
