Case 730 D.O.M diesel engine balancer. Does it have one?

I Just picked up a case 730 diesel draft o matic 8 speed tall nose. Someone has had the oil pan off (bad silicone job). I have a vibration over 1500 rpm w no bad noises. Engine runs good I drove it 6 miles home. I'm wondering if there is in fact a balancer in this engine and if so how do you time it? I suspect previous owner installed it out of time. I have read it may have an oil pump balancer combo but I'd like to hear some thoughts. I'm excited about this purchase it's a good original for being in the new england atlantic rust belt . Thanks

From the factory it should have had the oil pump balancer. However I have worked on several where it has been removed and a cam driven oil pump was installed. Usually when the original crank is too far out (thrown rod or spun bearing). It is easier to find a nonbalanced crank and cam driven oil pump.
Either way still good tractors

C.O.M stands for "Case-O-Matic" which CASE introduced in 1958 with the advent of the 400B 600B & 800 tractors. It is a Torque Converter Drive that replaced a dry clutch. Nothing automatic about it, still had an 8sp tranny behind it. Offered from '58 thru '69.
D.O.M stands for "Draft-O-Matic" which CASE introduced '64 or '65. Definitely '65 on the Comfort Kings. Sensed the load on the Draft Arms 600 times a minute.
