Took my 955 swather out and cut some pasture hay to make sure it is ready to cut oats in a couple weeks. Worked good on about 3 or 4 acres on Monday.

I used the 830 to run it through the conditioner yesterday but no pics, then raked it today.

Jeff is going to come bale it tomorrow, hope I get 4 or 5 round bales. That kind of hay is selling for $80.00/bale right now as there is not much green hay around this year. I think I'm going to cut about 10 or 12 acres of the worst oats for hay too. Supposed to be a nice week next week. Going to be nice to get something, however little, to sell finally, been a long and expensive year.

Corn planter worked great. Got 6" of rain right after that made a hard crust so that hurt the stand some. But it's looking good now. We've been getting rain as often as every one, but less most times.

I'm kinda sensitive about taters still, I feel taters being out the worst in some folks, so none in the kingdom.

Jon, no hard feelings about taters. I am looking to make the trip in September, if very thing here is ok. Jerry
