need 885 bypass valve screen

I need the bypass valve screen of a 885 diesel.When I changed the the hydraulic oil the bypass valve screen fell apart it came out in pieces.

It is rare that I drop a filter pan and find a good one. Usually I just weld them back together.

Last I knew CIHNHFIAT had new ones available, but not cheap.

RGMartin maybe you can help me,there were 2 like shims that were round,one was steel ad the other was like hard plastic,do they go in the bottom of the spring,and does it matter which position do they go

the plastic one is the seal on the valve, the steel one is the backer.

Hello RGMARTIN,is what you saying is that the plastic round shim goes first, on the top of the screen,then the steel shim, next then the spring and then the u shape like clamp and weld them together right?

Does anyone have some pictures of this part ?
just picked up an DB 885 and went to change its tranny oil and it fell out of the filter in pieces.
i need to see how it goes back together.
