1963 Case G430 New Owner

Hello! Just recently obtained a 1963 Case G430 (gas) tractor with a model 22 front loader. 3 point in the rear. I never knew I'd be so fascinated with a tractor haha.

I have two questions I can't seem to figure out that are boggling my mind.

1. Where is the hydraulic refill port for the rear 3 point? My 3 point isn't responsive to the draft o matic lever at all. I. I'm guessing the valve control was leaking and never refilled? Seems very soft up and down.

2. Considering the model year and that it's a gas 430 with a front loader. Which repair manual would be the best that covers engine, front loader, and 3 point? Would I have to get two separate manuals? Is this tractor technically the same as a 430ck without the backhoe?

Thanks in advance!

I?m guessing it has a torque tube forward of the transmission. If so, there should be a square headed plug on the left side of the torque tube that is the fill hole. This would require a hy-Tran type fluid.

In your first photo there is a "bolt" head just below the forward/reverse shifter. That's the dipstick,
unscrew it and you can check the fluid level. I also fill through the same hole.

You'd better get that tractor parked some place else. That new concrete won't look too good with oil drips all over it. Says: tomturkey the proud owner of several Case tractors and everyone of them has a drip somewhere. Just the way it is with 55+ year old tractors. gobble

Is this the torque tube? It's underneath the gauge cluster and it has pipe coming from the 3 point. But I see no square screw plug. I posted the left side of this above that has a hydraulic hose going to it. But also see no square plug.

The torque tube is the section of the transmission case between the clutch housing and the rear end. Allis came up with the patent on it. It is my understanding Case had to pay Allis 50 cents for every tractor they made that had one. Your tractor is different than mine, but it looks like there is a plug below that lever on the left side of the tractor in one of the first photos. My tractor (351)has a plug that takes a 1/2 drive but it looks like you have that switch with wires coming out of that hole.
