DC tire size ?

I want to go to a bigger rear tire on my DC4. It has 13.3 x 38?s, I?d like to go to 14.9 or 15.5. My rims look like they measure 11? bead to bead ? Wondering if I need bigger wider rims? I found some good 14.9?s and also some 15.5?s
 
I have 15.5 Armstrongs on my 48, My rims were bad so I replaced them with 14" rims with the same deep drop centers, a direct bolt on and not terribly expensive, looks and pulls good.

The 13.6 and 15.5 are the same diameter. The 14.9 is 3" larger in diameter. We farmed with a 49 JD A and a 51 Farmall M and put 14.9x38s on both of them and farmed row crops with no problem.
 
I see you have mismatched tire on rear of your tractor. Do you have trouble with the right tire breaking traction before the left one. I have mismatched on the IH 450 and have to carry 200 lbs more weight on right wheel to make it bite like left.
 
Going with 14.9?s. I found some real good used ones and I figure I can use my same rims. Just a show and parade tractor and I do a few pulls.
