Finally got the 400 done except for cleaning up and a few little things like lights, and took it outside for the first time. It seems to run good, but occasionally misses a beat. Not sure why, but I'm hoping it works itself out.

I even got a pic of the kids outside. Lol.

Then it was back in the shed to wait for spring.

Third Party Image I moved the 830 into the project bay, it has com issues. It seems to lose oil pressure sometimes. Sometimes everything works as it should, other times it will grind the gears or not pull. I'll start looking at it soon.

No work on the planter this weekend because the 400 took the whole weekend. After it was all together and running and I was trying to drive it I remembered that the throw out bearing was bad, so I had to split it again and out that in. I knew it was bad and bought a new one, even thought about it when I was working on it, but still put it together without it. Oh well, anything worth doing is worth doing twice, as my dad used to say. Lol. In this case I split it 3 times before it was right. That's what separates us amatures from the pros I guess.

Sure sounds really good to me, and if it has a little glitch, it will like you said work its way out of it. Your getting a good team put together, sure is nice the extra ones on the team. 2 loaders on a farm are like magic! Good to hear a update

Wow, it sounds really nice and I like the way it idles down so nice. Pretty much no smoke that I could see. I got a kick out the way you nonchalantly said you had to split it again over the week end to put the bearing in. You obviously get a lot of work done.

The work you did on that intake manifold was incredible.

Paul
