1370 park

Late model 1370, let my neighbor use it and now no park, lever just flops. I assume he muscled it, is there a weak spot in the internal linkage where I should start looking? Thanks.

Make sure linkage from console to RH side of trans is all intact and operating and more than likely is but check first. If it is the problem is in the the trans and the PTO housing would need to be removed to repair. A floopy lever usually means a sheered teeny weeny key up in the linkage arm but could be a broken pin or roller. Either way you will figure it out after the PTO is out. Not a difficult fix with a little patience and a factory service manual showing step by step procedure. Rod.
