I don't have one, and still looking for one that was sold out of our dealership new but, it seems like there isn't any around. Dad sold quite of few of them but I have no idea if they are all scrapped or what. Guess its a lot of years ago when they were out.

I bought my 800 in 2007 for $400. Its by far my favorite tractor. I have added my F11 loader and some New Holland 3 point arms in place of the Eagle hitch arms which were gone when I bought the tractor. She meeds the heads redone, but after I put a good altenator on and a pair of good 12 volt batteries, she will start down to 15 degrees with a snort of either.

Geez what a deal. What was wrong or what did you have to do to get it running. I really want a diesel, I wish I could find one in tack that Dad sold.
Geez sure looks good, and its working hard like it was built for since 1958

All I have done is used it. I did put the alternator on and some big front tires on. It slobbers oil, but oil is cheap. Some day I will restore it maybe.

No pictures on my phone, but it looks like it might be dry enough for me to plow with mine tomorrow!

My Dad sold this new in late '58 or '59. We bought it back from the original owner, and it was whipped. Was about 7 years total restoring, from the front axle, engine, converter, tranny work, hyd. pump & pto. That's our daughter Chrissy (the ham). Joe wasn't restoring dashes yet, so the dash was done by Roger Hornbaker. I did the valve job, so she will start down to 40 degrees before you need the manifold heater. Converter does not drag at all, but did bad when we got it. They ground the gears so bad, that she would jump out of high range. Replaced the collar and did some other work in there.

I love this picture, and have kept it, as I knew it was your daughter on the tractor. I want a "800B" I knew you put a lot of work into it, and another thing you mentioned that you did the valves and it starts good in cold weather. Do you use it John?

I bet you have it framed in your office.

Ande!! I humbled beyond words. Usually a paper basket will get lined w/ anything from me. Yes, I do all my own valve jobs. I seen good lower end overhauls ruined w/ a poor valve job. Grinding valves and seats moves the valves farther into the head and lowers compression, guaranteeing a hard starting engine. I had to start the 730 one cold day this Winter. It was in the low teens, the 730 was under a shed, in the shade. I ran the starter till smoke rolled from the muffler. Ran the manifold heater for about 40 seconds. Then set for about 10 seconds to let the heat dissipate some, hit the starter and the ol'e girl made me proud. Fired up & hit smooth on all 4. The 800 will start the same way, and has once or twice when I needed it. Obviously good batteries are a must. Yes, we use the 800. I'm of the thought that, what good are they if you can't use them. I get tons of satisfaction climbing on a tractor I've restored and putting her to work.

Not only a very sharp "800B", but the scenery makes it a great print, thanks Jim!

Dan, that one has a tired engine but ran ok,, hyd trans ect all worked good, the top filler neck on the radiator came loose one year and the starter gave up is why I parked it, then a friend wanted it but never got around to picking it up, so last year I traded back for it, I need to see if she will still run,, it was handy to have around at times but I should just sell it and at least a dozen others just sitting here cnt
