Took the day yesterday and ran down to Nebraska to get a new engine for my 400. Got a nice clean 301d from a combine
Got it from a nice man named Bill Talbert from Hartwell Ne. I'm not sure he's a poster here, but he has a nice collection of case tractors, LA's, 400s, 30series and 2 real nice black and white 94 series. I say those are the nicest looking Case tractors in spite of the 30 series being my favorites. Sorry, no pics of the visit because I was in a hurry and forgot.
Weather was nice going down, but it started with freezing rain then snow on the way home, so I got to drive in the snow from Hartwell to Albert Lea Mn about 450 miles or so. Felt like I was driving the millennium falcon. Lol.
Total miles for the trip was right close to 1200, I didn't reset the trip counter til I was about 10 miles or so on the way.
I left yesterday at about 5am, spent an hour or so at Bill's place and rested a couple hours in Des Moines and got home this morning at about 4am. I may take a nap or two today. Lol
