Made some more progress on the 70 loader today. I hoped to have all the cylinders made, but ran into some geometry problens. There is a couple of things I would have done different back in the 80's when I started this project, but I'm not going to back up at this point.

Third Party ImageIt took lots of tweeking and figuring to get things looking somewhat correct. It's not perfect, but will look OK on the toy shelf.

Me too, I thought the new lens in my strong eye would fix that, it helped but definitely didn't cure. Like they say, old age isn't for sissies.

Dan, Yea a 1/16" makes a big difference in how things fit, and I have a hard time seeing things in 1/16 inches now days.

Nope, wheels and tires come from Dakota toys, along with other custom accessories such as wheel weights and front end weights on some applications. The tractor is an Ertl dicast model that has been customized with the ROPS canopy and different wheel and tire combinations.
