59 Case 420bd backhoe questions

I have a 59 Case Industrial 420bd backhoe with torque converter and case-o-matic. Does anyone have a video of operating the case-o-matic aspect? I'm guessing mine is out as it doesn't do anything when driving it that I know of. Other questions are if anyone has the OEM number for the muffler, and if there is a list of O-rings and seals on the stabilizer cylinders.

I would check the convertor oil level, COM units Seldom ever go out,, does the clutch psi gauge work and show any psi? there can be a number of things cause this but start with the basics a ops manual's available from Case CE dealers, the dipstick for the convertor is under the dash on the torque tube cover where the shuttle and hi/lo range shifters are at

Thanks Case Nutty! Can you explain what the torque drive does and when and how it should be applied. I have no clue. I have ignored it and just operated the old tractor but really need a lesson.
 
It is the same as your car or pickup with a auto trans, but has a clutch pedal to drop oil psi to the clutches, the direct drive lever is only used after you are moving and want to lock out the convertor making it a direct drive, anytime you step on the clutch it should shift it back to convertor drive for a smooth take off, in the higher gears it may just start to move when you let out the clutch at a idle like you should always do, then step on the foot throttle to bring up engine rpms and the system will start you moving smooth as silk, use the convertor drive mode for loader work as you can just apply as much power to the wheels as you need for the job with out them spinning and digging like a direct dry machine does, when you shift to direct drive you will notice a speed increase also
