I found this picture in a flickr website of Paul Hohmann, its a very nice picture of the Branch today as apartments, look above to the roof, yes, the mount for the Eagle that is at Bonanzaville is still on the building! I was in the Branch with my Dad several times. Great memories. Anyone else have pictures?

I stopped by there last year about this time. I took some pics. It was really a neat feeling seeing it up close. I was probably 3 or 4 when I was last there visiting with dad. Sorry, some pics flipped on me.

It's actually offices vs apartments. Some on main level and some upper. They had some nice archive photos on the walls. Nice history preservation. At least it sure beats demolition.

Note the freight elevator in the previous post.

Nice to see the old buildings refurbished and put to use. Here's a picture (from Google street view) of the old Case branch on 7th and Broad in Regina. It's been modernized and houses a number of small shops.

Friend of mine found the words JI Case Co etched in stone over the door way of the old branch house in Sioux Falls SD. Contractor was covering the stone for a remodel. My friend wanted to buy the large piece but the contractor said it would be too intrusive to remove it and replace.

About 20 years ago there was an aftermarket tractor parts supplier in that building. Been in there many times.

Dan, Thanks. I was aware of this as I lived in Fargo or Moorhead for several years while attending NDSU. I see on the photo that Bob posted that there was a Van Brunt facility just down the street. So much history - I love it!

Dan it is awesome to think about what the Company had for warehouses across the country at one time. Thanks for showing, I believe I seen a postcard somewhere with that building also. Rod.

The prominent CASE lettering on the water tower looks nice, along with a structure what looks like a fence around the whole roof top with full J.I.Case T.M Co. name spelled out all the way around the building.

On a second note, If you read the article, I'd hate to pay their fire insurance premiums.

Yes Bob, I have been to that site a lot, as you can really see the bracket there under the Eagle, that is still on the building today. We just need to enjoy these old buildings as long as we can as they might fade away. If I find anything on the Case building I try to post as some of us are really interested.

Bob, Thanks for refreshing our memories. Did you notice the date discrepancy? Not earth shattering but the caption UNDER the photo says July 1 and the caption ON the photo says July 13. And just down the street is a Van Brunt facility.
