500 diesel starters

Recently bought good running 500 diesel but needs a starter pull tractor 5 feet and it pops right off anyone have one laying around by chance?

Have you had a quote on the rebuild. They are not that special. Most starter rebuilders treat folks reasonably. If you do not have the expertise to rebuild, you pay for the knowledge that others have. It is the world we live in. CM

This is the big 500, 377CI, 6cyl correct? I used to run them for irrigation motors. I now use
Perkins, and have 500 parts to get rid of. EMail me, and I'll give you my phone number and some
options.
