The "900" is still sitting in the meadow, havent had a chance to put some rod bearing in her. The "SC" became a donor to my other "SC" which save a bunch of doe. The "VA" is in storage, and planned to get her running this summer, and use it for odd jobs.

Dan,

There seems to be no end to the projects a person can take on, all it takes is time and money. LOL Overhaul a DO that's putting water in the oil, put together a late DC4, paint a DC3, paint a DCS, paint a 500, valve guides and rings for a 630, brakes on a 430, etc. I got a call a few nights ago from a friend who found a 660 combine like new and a Case elevator from the same barn. The older farmer has rented the place out and they need to be gone quick. Any ideas for how to hide a combine? Don

Don you should not have to hide the combine, just explain how much money you save by purchasing a old but very usable machine, LOL. My wife did not believe my story but you might have better luck, Rod.

Ande, I have a western 400 to rebuild that is in the shed , a 400 row crop to work on the shifting, my cc to get it ready for some shows, and my dads tractor VAC that over heats which is number one on the list. Oh yes I for got my 1971 Monte Carlo.
Lots to do and get the equipment ready for next year. Jerry from OHIO

Don,

A friend of mine near Two Rivers has 3 660 combines that he actually uses to combine 80 acres of oats each year. I will tell him you know of one, I assume in Door County. He might be interested in a 4th one if it's in running condition. Al

Well Jerry, it does sound like you are very busy, I enjoy your posts and your passion for the "Case brand". Please keep us updated on them. Thanks for your post Jerry.

Well Don, the combine is a pickle, hard to hide, but go ahead bluntly when she sees it, just say, your storing it for a friend! She will say, I have heard that story before!, then your "smoke and mirrors" should take you through! Hehe

Its on you this year Don-the justification. Linda took the 511-b a lot better than the 411 Racine. I still have the plow at work ,trying to free up the tripper. I'm just going to bring it home and take it like a man.CM
